María Jesús Lorenzana, the Regional Minister for Economy and Industry of the Xunta de Galicia, toured Grupo Ramón García’s facilities at the Merelle industrial park in Ordes, as part of her official visit to the municipality.
During the day’s events, she highlighted the potential of the local business community and the importance of further strengthening the competitiveness and growth of companies operating in Ordes.
In this context, reference was made to the investment of nearly 120,000 euros to improve pedestrian access to the industrial estate, together with the recent rollout of new grants to modernize equipment and safety systems in business parks.
These initiatives reinforce the role of the Merelle industrial estate as a strategic hub for business development and expansion, while consolidating the environment that supports Grupo Ramón García’s operations.
