About This Project
July 21 Finished Project

The Lariño Lighthouse is a construction that was carried out between 1913 and 1921 in a unique environment, which helped the boats to enter the arch of Fisterra and the Corcubión estuary, thus completing the lighting system of the Corrubeo and Fisterra lighthouses.

This lighthouse, active until the end of the 80s, has been completely rehabilitated, enabling it as a tourist accommodation establishment, thus becoming one of the most unique hotels in Galicia, but preserving all its essence and original appearance.

The reform of this Lighthouse was proposed through a clear symbology with the states of the sea where each room takes you to a specific state of it such as: sea foam, mist, dawn, sky, storm, wild sea, sunset and night.

In the same way, the common areas bring those lighthouse keepers to life, as does the particular white and red light emitted by the Lighthouse, represented in various elements of the design.

The El Ariete tavern offers us a clear nautical design and in line with the Lighthouse, where every detail is taken care of to the maximum.
